Welcome to Trusty, developed by Softexpoit. We are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information in compliance with global data protection laws including GDPR (EU), DPA 2018 (UK), and CCPA (California).

2. What We Collect

We only collect essential personal data, including:

  • Live Location – collected only during active SOS Mode/Session or Monitor Me mode
  • Audio Data – 10-second recordings (During SOS mode activation) + optional live audio during SOS Session (if requested by your emergency contacts during sos mode)
  • Profile Info – Name, Phone number, Email address, ID, Home Address, Device ID, Image (Profile Picture only), emergency contacts
  • Device & Crash Logs – technical logs for app improvement

We do not collect any personal data. App does not collect/share live location when SOS mode is off or You don't start 'Monitor Me'.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

We only process your personal data:

  • With your explicit consent (when you activate SOS mode or Monitor Me (only location sharing during monitor me with your consent/action)
  • To fulfill our service to you (contractual necessity)
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Use of Information

We use your data for:

  • Sending SOS alerts to your emergency contacts only
  • Triggering automated phone alerts if credits are available
  • Letting your Emergency contacts only to track you during SOS mode/Session running
  • Letting your selected contacts only to track you during Monitor Me mode
  • Displaying your account and subscription status
  • Improving reliability and security through anonymized logs

5. Who We Share Data With

We do not sell your data. Data may be shared only:

  • With your chosen emergency contacts (during active SOS mode)
  • With your selected contacts (during Monitor me mode started by you)
  • With authorities (if your emergency contacts share a protected link during your sos mode running)
  • With law enforcement if required by applicable law

6. Data Security

We use end-to-end encryption, secure Google Cloud storage, and role-based access controls, Security and Protection on Data. Your SOS data is automatically deleted when you turn off SOS mode.

7. Data Retention

We retain your profile data (name, image, email, phone number, home address, device id, ID number) and contact info for as long as your account is active. SOS data is stored temporarily. Your SOS data is automatically deleted when you turn off SOS mode.

Monitor Me mode data is shared only with the specific contacts you select. Once you stop sharing or disable Monitor Me mode, all related live data is automatically deleted and no longer accessible to anyone, including the system.

8. International Transfers

Data will be stored on Google Cloud servers outside your country. We ensure compliance through Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and secure protocols.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access your data
  • Request correction or deletion
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Object to or restrict processing
  • File a complaint with a data protection authority

10. Children's Privacy

Trusty is designed primarily for users aged 13 and above. However, users under the age of 13 may use the app with the involvement, supervision, and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children without appropriate consent. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child without parental permission, we will promptly delete that data.

11. Responsible Use

SOS features must be used in genuine emergencies. Misuse may result in suspension or limitation of your account.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. You'll be notified through the app or email in case of significant changes.
